Business processes are not your businessHello Kurt, Thanks for the comments. You are of course right, but you are a BPM-guy. Let me tell you a bit about the background of this. Several years ago, I participated as a coach in the e-Business Strategy training program of the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium. This was a ...Marc Buyens added to Business Interaction Management (BIM) 8 months ago

Add items shared with you to interest feedThat is correct. However, the problem (for me) is that I pay little attention to such e-mail messages. I work a lot off-site at customer premises where I prefer not mixing my personal stuff and theirs. Therefore, I only read my personal e-mail once or twice a day. At such moment, I mostly ignore ...Marc Buyens added 12 months ago

HolarchyVery valid points and very visually described. I like the idea of diving managers. Still, nothing blocks them from doing so today. In fact, most of what you describe can also be possible in a traditional hierarchical organisation. Perhaps no natural fit, but still possible and I can even say ...Marc Buyens added to Organizational Behavior 12 months ago

HolarchyInteresting questions and the very essence of the twine I started myself on “Organisational change”. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward answer. Bug: twining a twineI do not know whether this is a valid alternative for you, but bookmarking the RSS feed of the twine does seem to work. Of course, clicking this bookmark will not present you the summary page of the twine, but will display its content in the default RSS display form of your browser. Still, ...Marc Buyens added 12 months ago

New UIYes, indeed, I have to agree, some major improvements have been released. For the first time. the interest feed really becomes a useful tool for navigating new content. In addition, as Twain already mentioned, the recommendation engine behaves quite differently now. I cannot judge to what extent ...Marc Buyens added 13 months ago

New NoteI have installed Chrome on my PC for website testing purposes. Chrome nicely copied all my Firefox bookmarks and also the Twine bookmarklets. Both of them function normally, but I only did a couple of tests. MarcBMarc Buyens added 14 months ago

Are My Items meant to be public? You are right. This seems to be OK now. I repeated the test I did earlier and I no longer find any private items when I access my profile page or the My Items list as a non-registered user. Great! MarcBMarc Buyens added to Twine Users Forum 14 months ago

What are you expected to see where and when? You might be right. I just discovered that on one of my PC's the interest feed address had the option '?limit=50'. Initially, the content of regular feeds was limited to the 10 last items. So, on very active twines, you missed a lot and this workaround was suggested by Twine. But apparently, ...Marc Buyens added to Twine Users Forum 14 months ago
