Catching up with Myself

I've been called a loose cannon, a free spirit, and artsy-fartsy, all of which were meant as an insult but I accept as a complimentary self-definition. I am a mom, a lifeguard, a water fitness instructor, and a full time student working towards a degree in business marketing. I write, though not yet as a profession. I am an excellent event planner, a terrible procrastinator, and a professional fun killer. (Do you KNOW how many accidents occur on a slippery pool deck??)

I like to know a little bit about everything. I'm fascinated with the way the brain works and I search out the psychology in everything: writing novels, building a blog following, poetry, marketing, relationships, hobbies, parenting, education.... You name the topic, I want to figure out why people act the way they do in regards to it.
