doing things and stuff
In short, I am an Engineer for Radar Networks, car nut, enthusiast, and general trouble maker. I guess this is where I am supposed to talk about my accomplishments and experiences in the work place but most of what I can be proud of is demonstrable, tangible, and sometimes just for me or my friends; although I am very proud to be working on the Semantic Web. Other than that whether I'm working on my car, organizing a Burning Man camp, building Twine or just coding in my free time, its whats I do for myself and others that I am most excited about; all of which can be found on my blog in case any of that interests anyone reading this. Is there anybody in there?

Tagging and the Semantic Web - John Clarke Mills' BlogWhat if you could tag an object with another object. Instead of tagging objects with strings, which falls back on a full-text search, you could tag something with an actual representation?

How Much of Twine Has Google Indexed So Far?Exactly, but in my opinion those numbers are good ;). Half-empty or half full is the question. Is a difference of around 800 pages that big in the grand scheme of things? No. Its really not. What I care about are the half a million other pages. Its all still too early to tell. Im just ...John Clarke Mills added 15 months ago

How Much of Twine Has Google Indexed So Far?Hi all, Sorry I'm late to the party. Im the one responsible for the SEO on Twine thus far. I'm a little swamped right now with other various projects but I'll try and answer a few of your questions. Some of you are seeing different results when you hit google. This is due to geographic ...John Clarke Mills added 15 months ago

XStream - About XStreamTwine uses XStream everywhere. We do a lot of asynchronous processing on the backend, passing serialized messages back and forth via JMS. I like it. Its pretty easy to use and no wiring like JIBX.John Clarke Mills added to enterprise-java 16 months ago
