Using the Semantic Web to tell better stories
G'day from sunny Queensland. I have had a keen interest in future tech from the first day I got my hands on a Commodore 64.
Since then I have worked my way through bulletin board systems, gopher, telnet, lynx, mosaic and the pinnacle... (drum role)... firefox 3.
I spend my time up in the steamy tropics dreaming how we can unite the climate change/reef researchers on the Great Barrier Reef with better tools -- those tools being next gen things like kr, agents, Semantic Web, Web 3.0, Web 4.0, whatever works :)

look or feel or blogMicrosoft Surface vs. Homebrew Multitouch It’s rare that I opine on my blog, but since we’ve recently been able to talk openly about our involvement with Microsoft Surface , I’ve been feeling like it’s worth discussing this much-maligned creature. LODr (John Goodwin)Hey thats great John. Thanks for sharing that. I agree with Atul's comments, the current state-of-the-art in tagging and apis is pretty lacking... I think things like LODr are the way to the future. I tried getting this installed on my OS X machine but did not have all the dependencies. Looks ...David Peterson added 13 months ago
