web 3.0, libraries, electronic publishing
I'm the CTO at Credo Reference Limited, with offices in Boston, MA and Oxford, UK. We provide a web-based customizable general reference product to libraries. My job is to develop the needed technologies, convert print content into XML format and then ensure that it is delivered to all of our subscribers as an interactive web-based service.
In some of my spare time, I travel. My favorite destinations include the UK, Mexico, Canada and my own country, the United States.
I help several non-profit organizations with their Internet strategies. These include the Isaac Royall House, The Medford Brooks Estate Land Trust, The Medford Historical Society, The Arlington Historical Society and the Blue and Gray Education Society.
My other interests include social media, food, cooking, photography, art, national and local politics, and educational technology.

Museum of Art - Rhode Island School of DesignVisited on July 5. Enjoyed "American Art from the Permanent Collection", "Facing Artists: Twentieth Century Portraits from the Collection" and "Yousuf Karsh: Portraits of Artists". Marcel Breuer was the featured attraction. To me, it felt too much like thumbing through Dwell magazine.Al Stevens added to World's Best Art Museums 4 months ago
