The Arts and Culture in the Context of Darwinian Theory Today

This group is about Darwinian evolution theory today and how we understand culture and the arts in this context. IMERA is organising the discussion leading up to the colloquium on this topic in Marseille October 22,23, "24 2009. One of the speakers will be neurobiologist Jean Pierre Changeux, whose recent book "Du Vrai, du Beau, du Bien" discusses whether ethics and aeshetics are human attributes that have been selected through evolution.
