Sustainable Packaging?
Public
Packaging Sustainability--Theories, Myths, Actualities. Process, materials, design, and other elements that can impact our environment as well as the goods and services we consume.
Packaging surrounds us, protects our goods, advertises the products we buy, and is ultimately discarded once the product is delivered or consumed. Some items are intended to be used once and disposed of. Others have potential re-use streams available to recover and feed back into the production cycle. Some things are just plain dumb, and could probably be done in a better way.
Please ONLY post items relating to new or innovative products and methods for packaging, as well as research and information relative to sustainability or the lack of sustainability in the marketplace. We also like to see examples of "FAILS" as an impetus to strive for better solutions.
Contrarian ideas are welcome as we explore what it really means to have and to want sustainability in our world.
