*Changing America?

Public
America has begun a process of change as demanded by We The People in the historic election November 4, 2008. The global financial and economic crisis will require urgent changes. The global environmental challenges will require urgent changes. These are no times for business as usual. We are privileged and responsibles of being part of a social process of reflection for real change.
Is America really changing? Where is the change? Is the newly elected Administration going to make real changes? Where are the forces opposing change? And the consequences of no change?
Our elected officials are Accountable to us, The People. It is time to demand real change, before it's too late. We want to see Lady Liberty's torch again burn bright, lighting the way.

1Dana Milbank - Washington Sketch: Republican senators do an about-face on judicial filibusters - washingtonpost.com"Lying, flip-flopping hypocrites." A charge Republican's love to level against anyone perceived as their opponents. Only this time it sticks to those very same Republicans. Ethics? Principles? Can be trusted to stick to and follow their word? Not for these Republican Senators.JDP added 21 hours ago
