A group of artists and technologist led by Mark Pauline building a variety of performance art pieces that are either from the future or your nightmares, possibly both.
I've known about SRL since the late 70's when Mark Pauline first started the group. I followed their activities and looked for any opportunity to get involved, but they were in San Fran and I was in Austin so distance was a problem. While working for Discovery Hall, a hands-on science museum here in Austin I was involved in starting the Austin Robot Group. In 1996 I got to work on the Austin SRL show and it was everything I had hoped!!!
