A Knowledge Platform is an application that can or will be able to manage information from cradle to grave. This means from sourcing the infomation through search, feeds, blogs, application driven surfacing, content creation or social recommendation to sharing the information, commenting on and discussing it, marking it up (annotation and tagging) and creating stable information structures (wikis, visualizations) for long term storage and retrieval or archiving.
