Memetics
Public
This is a twine for all aspects of memes and memetics, the study of memes. Memes are the cultural equivalent of genes, first introduced by Richard Dawkins in 'The Selfish Gene'. The exact nature of memes is a matter of debate, but they can be said to be replicators that pass from brain to brain and are how ideas and concepts, as well as cultural patterns, are spread. This twine will attempt to be a resource for all and welcomes everybody interested in this area.
