Web interface design

This twine is a repository of visual design resources applicable to the development of web-based user interfaces.
The separation of content, structure, behavior and form on the Web does not mean that these components exist in their own respective vacuums. Outstanding websites and apps appreciate the interdependency of the parts in creating the whole, and realize that visual design is not simply a decorative layer on top of technology. Design enhances communication, usability and accessibility.
This twine is moderated. Please post only high-quality resources. No "How to create a cool Web 2.0 banner" tutorials here. Irrelevant, low-quality material or spam will be removed.
*The focus here is on standards-compliant design and development. If you don't know what that is, this is not the Twine for you.*
