General Evolution Advocacy & Research
Public
GENEVAR is a sort of collection point (how many collection points can you count from where you sit?) I've been elaborating for nearly 20 years now.
"General Evolution" is inspired by the other great generals of our era: General Dynamics, General Motors, General Foods, General Electric...just seemed to me that we needed a "General Evolution" so voila.
This Twine is yet another collection tool.
Like any effective burr, the GENEVAR Twine should attach itself to interesting memetic carriers in the ebb and flow of this particular noospheric estuary.
Welcome and enjoy mucking about with me.

The Embryo's Eloquent FormAnother great piece on qualitative science from Steve Talbott. Explores the conversational dimensions of briging life into being, singing it up...speaking its name...the fractally consistent process by which all experience is reified.boabjohn added 2 months ago

Shirky: Ontology is Overrated -- Categories, Links, and TagsExcellent wedge in the cracks of the campaign to "put the semantics in the machine". My favourite line: "People have been freaking out about the virtuality of data for decades, and you'd think we'd have internalized the obvious truth: there is no shelf. In the digital world, there is no ...boabjohn added 2 months ago
