Ethical Feast
Public
This Ethical Feast twine is connecting ideas about an actual feast (ie, people sharing food in a celebratory communion) to the particular dimensions that:
(1) Explore the many-layered context of ethics, local food, right livelihoods, attentiveness, and
(2) Add to the intelligent and *generative* critique of global/corporate sterile/toxic foods
The Feast is held in India to:
(3) Highlight the opportunity/necessity for India's people to find a future that is *not* dependent on the poisonous material fixations of the current mainstream western cultures.
The first Feast is scheduled for mid Nov 2009 on the shores of Lake Pichola, Udaipur.
