Sponty is a new site that combines some of the easy, fun, and convenient aspects of tweets, status updates, personal calendars, and local fun/cultural goings on, in order to help Sponty's users hangout and get more out of their free time.**

Sponty's mission is to make you and your friends hangoutable.

Sponty takes the hassle out of putting together casual social events. It lets you broadcast your hangoutable intentions, so that your friends can see what you're up to and join you.

Click a timeslot on Sponty's calendar and fill the super simple details. You can also pick an icon, or Sponty will pick one for you. Done.
Your friends can now see what you're up to.

Sponty shows you what your friends are doing today. You can see what your friends did yesterday, or what they're doing tomorrow by using the date arrows. If none of your friends is doing anything hangoutable, fret not! Broadcast your own hangoutability and they'll come.
