Description: Comodo CEO Melih Abdulhayoglu’s “rants” about how DV SSL certificates (which is represented as the yellow padlock on sites) fool online visitors with a false sense of trust. His goal – to restrict and possibly exclude the use of DV SSL for ecommerce. Bold step coming from a Certification Authority. Here’s his take… “this DV crap must be resolved....Verisign and Godaddy (the biggest DV providers) think they make money from it...misguided and scary imo”.
