Description

Kngine is Knowledge Web search engine designed to provide meaningful search results. Milestone 2 is the firsts public release. This release include some useful features that help the users to reach what they want directly, such as:

Smart Information
Answer your questions
Link the data, and view direct data
Smart Information
When the user searches about something, such as ‘SONY, Obama, Eiffel Tower, Objective C, Britney spears’ s/he want know some direct information.

Kngine try to provide a smart meaningful Information that differs according to the keyword type. This could be (e.g., Map, Summary, Personal information, Sony lyrics, or Links).

This information will help the users in different ways and it will make the Web Searching more user friendly, not just web links.

Answer your questions
Today, the common ways to answer given question needs many steps, even the simple questions, first you need to search and then browse many pages until you found the answer.

Kngine try to address this challenge and make the Computer be able to answer your questions, just write the question and Kngine will try to found the answer for you.

Kngine can't answer any questions, but I work to enhance this ability by improve the question understanding algorithms, and collect and organize more systematic knowledge and experiences.

Link the data, and view direct data
Linking the different kind of data together, such as: (Book, sale store, and the author Information) and (Movie, related photos, sale store, parents guide, and subtitles), will provide big value to the user.

Kngine try to link the different kind of data, currently:

I link the movies with subtitles, parents guide from Kids-In-Mind.com, and the famous online sale stores.
In Photos search, When you search about city or place (i.e. something have geographic coordinates) such as: Statue of Liberty, Tokyo; Kngine will also search about the photos that tagged around this location, beside the ordinary key-based search. This feature will enhance the result and allows share the users experiences.
Also Kngine try to minimize the needs to browse many pages and view the information that you looking for directly. Currently Kngine can view: weather information, and Stock Quotes.
