  Apple doesn't make any money on Flash apps you could access through a browser. So they restrict it. But they will allow Flash apps to be obtained via the app store - and take their usual 30% share..
  Adobe is working on Flash CS5 which lets you create apps for the iPhone (you still have to be a registered iPhone developer) - due later this year.
