A good collection of patterns and textures is an invaluable asset for any designer. However when it comes to finding the right pattern or texture; one can easily spend hours searching for it. W3Avenue has compiled a list of resources which will help you find high quality free patterns and textures. As an added bonus you will also find a list of useful online tools that will help you quickly create simple patterns yourself.

All of the resources presented in our list are available free for personal use, most of these are also available free of charge for commercial use. But always remember to read terms under which you can use these free resources.
