Description
The Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory has developed a reusable organic liquid that can pull harmful gases such as carbon dioxide or sulfur dioxide out of industrial emissions from power plants. The process could directly replace current methods and allow power plants to capture double the amount of harmful gases in a way that uses no water, less energy and saves money.

"Power plants could easily retrofit to use our process as a direct replacement for existing technology," said David Heldebrant, PNNL's lead research scientist for the project.

      Whatcha bet "we the people" give this away for free AND THEN pay for it twice by granting "pollution credits" and tax breaks to those industries that employ it! As opposed to say, the motorcycle helmet approach for individuals where one gets fined if they don't buy AND use one!

      Ain't it great to have a government of the corporation, by the corporation, and for the corporation!? With all of the "good parts" for the corporations = SOCIALIZATION of (guaranteed) profits, benefits, and subsidies, and CAPITALIZATION for everyone else = required expenditures (unto the monopolies in taxes AND purchases), risk bearing, and loss realization.
