      Autology is far more than the limited information provided here. It applies the world famous technology of Autonomy to an educational context. At it's core it uses pattern matching technology which can conceptually match what a user is searching for. It can also deploy push technology which allows a user to be pushed related information matched to what they are writing about in a Word document in real time. This means that the user is getting a constant flow of information in real time and they do not need to come off task to search for more material. The information is all drawn from text books and other thoroughly vetted educational sources relating (at the moment) to students from the ages of 11 to 19. It is the first time that this type of search capability has been able to make text available on-line.
