That's SOOO COOOL!!!!!! Is this a 'live' function, or just something you're experimenting with? What are the page references that are shown--just the associated link ties that connect into that page? Is it expandable? How can you modify/add or is it automatic? Why isn't it appearing on this page? (sorry for all the questions--this looks really great, and would be a neat addition if functional!)

it's live. just realized that a direct link to the item won't paginate :(

the premise is that upon entering an item page from a collection, noting there there are *many* such entry points of which most are personlizable (via search facets), the item-detail page will display a little previous/next panel in the upper right hand corner. i think it would use some refinement but it is pretty cool. hell'ah hard to implement ... but those are the best kind of problems to solve :)

the items displayed are the previous and next item from said collection. it doesn't expand. what are your thoughts in this regard? i do wonder if the arrows shouldn't simply slide the viewport and clicking on the pic will direct one to the associated item. it is derived from the collection to which the currently displayed item is a member. likely not appearing on this page because i gave out a direct like to the item, therefore there is no collection context. my bad. it is functional :) just need a tad more description.

        questions are good :)

        have fun!

re expansion--I see now what it's doing. I thought you were actually visually linking the various entry points into that particular item somehow. Kind of a visual Tag system, directly associated with the page you are viewing. I was thinking that the items viewed there would show all the branches from this one page out to other Twine links that it's connected to. Jumping from the individual who posted (James Todd) to individuals who commented (Fishead) to the various Twines it is shared into (The Grape, Being Todd, Twine Users Forum). Kind of like a ViewMaster SlideShow viewer of ALL the page links within a given item. That way when you Click All, it jumps not to another Twine, but to a summary page of all the related elements in one view, Including Tag Items! That would be REALLY cool, but pra'lly not on any radar at Radar.

re the arrows, I agree...they should act as a slide or next/previous choice, while clicking the pic makes the jump. I think that's a little more intuitive, and is why I was a little confused at first. nice stuff.

def on the radar. personal opinion is that perhaps that use case might be better served via a rich app, at least initially.
