Bogus "new" items in interest feed

Screen shot of the http://www.twine.com/twine/116qk9gqz-q6/biotech twine in my Interest Feed page 2009/05/12 (using Google Chrome on Windows XP SP3).  This shows 5 "new" or unread items, although only 2 items are really new.  There were NO unread items in this twine yesterday.  An interesting pattern here, is that one of the 2 'real' new items was created by me, but ALL of the bogus new items are 'mine', AND those are the most recent items in that twine that were created by me.  Not the most recent in the twine, just the most recent that I created / shared.

I created several bookmark items using BML about the same time as the actual new item shown here (shared to various twines).  One of them (*maybe* this one) I had 'issues' [my processing, not technical] with, and deleted and recreated it a couple of times [before sharing it].
