In one of the hottest, most arid and saline places on earth, from this desert grows a garden, a permaculture Eden—nourished only by water and compost farmers otherwise just burn, nourished not even with funding once initial grant money dried up, a true model for sustainability. It's an impressive example of the power of biology.
