Developer's Guide
With the Google Analytics Data Export API, you can develop client applications that download Analytics data in the form of Google Data API feeds. Your client application can use the Data Export API to request data from an existing Analytics profile for an authorized user, and refine the results of the request using query parameters. Currently, the Data Export API supports read-only access to your Google Analytics data. The current feeds in the Data Export API contain two general categories of Analytics data:
Analytics accounts and website profiles
Analytics report data from a single profile
As a developer, you can use this API for a number of use cases. For example, you might create a customized dashboard to integrate your most commonly viewed or requested page statistics, thus allowing other team members to view reports without having to access the Google Analytics reporting interface.
This developer's guide consists of the following sections.
To learn about the client library for a particular programming language, select the corresponding section. To learn more about the underlying protocol used by all the client libraries, select the Protocol section.
Each section of the guide covers the same material: how to get started and how to perform basic operations using a particular client library.
