A little disappointed by the many negative comments accompanying this talk on TED, from what she showed us the majority of her legs were not super high-tech robotic wonders but rather well made, thoughtfully made, but rather simple prosthesis. Two things I got out of this talk were that prosthesis do not have to be be high-tech to be enjoyed by the user, and that users of prosthesis can feel empowered by their differences.
