Your representatives in Congress are already hearing from lobbyists every day who are working to roll back the historic changes President Obama's budget could bring America. The coalmining companies, drug corporations, weapons builders and all the rest are already in there having their say.

If YOU want green jobs, tax cuts for 95% of us, repaired schools and all the rest, it's time to SPEAK UP.

This calling campaign targets Representatives and Senators who are members of the House and Senate budget committees. This month they will produce a budget resolution which will be the basis of how the government uses our taxes. Call them today, before they start us off on the wrong path.

      The lazy environmentalist approves this message, maybe it's time to get off the couch, if briefly. That said, I'm Canadian, so I'm staying on my couch, but I'm cheering for you - go get em!

      NOTE: I have not read the budget, but Obama's concept of greening the american economy, esp. by putting strings on aid to auto makers, strikes me as a good strategy, both environmentally and economically. And another thing, re big co lobbyists, THEY'RE NOT THERE TO HELP _YOU_ OUT.

      Between the lobbyists stroking the policy makers, and the bankers who are now in charge of the government, soon enough we won't even have our own couches to get up off of. Got a spare one in the basement for an American to watch the show from?
