The maps here show commuter corridors, trade corridors, zero-vehicle households, the highway and bridge network, average daily traffic, congestion and projections, the Intelligent Transportation System traffic management network and planning, public transportation networks, multi-use trails, freight tonnage, truck traffic, railroads, and interregional transportation facilities.

The Rochester Transportation Area includes Monroe County, plus the developed areas of three adjacent counties. The Genesee Transportation Council also extends planning altogether into nine contiguous counties.
