Description

This was taken from an untitled piece painted on wood by surf artist Alex Kopps and rendered into a workable piece for the shoulder by tattoo artist Carl Fuchs. This is the first phase, which will ultimately wind up finishing up as a quarter sleeve. Total time for piece was roughly 5 hours due to the detail involved. When I go back I am going to have a few more splash droplets added and the work done on the sleeve. The original painting was published in Volume 17 #2 The Surfer's Journal.
