5 word challenge: light, smoke, pillow, whipped, chat

I rolled over, my back facing the window. I wasn’t ready to face the light yet, I just wanted the night to last a little longer. But, I needed to get to my day. As I stood up, my hair fell onto my face and I could smell the smoke and beer from last night. I stood up and threw my clothes on the bed and got in the shower, once done I crawled into bed once more and let my towel wrapped head sink into the pillow. The night was slowly coming back to me, empty glasses, filled ashtrays, sweaty men and all of it started from the simple desire to get together and catch up. Our chat turned into debauchery; one beer quickly became several. As I remembered the events, I realized that I needed to be whipped into shape – too many nights where the mornings were unbearable. Enough was enough- I was done.
