Suggestion

Background:  New beta tester here!  think I signed up for the beta test (a lonnnnng time ago) because I thought this would help organize my web-brain.  Bookmarking tools are just inadequate now.  I was intrigued by the auto-tagging and suggestion/recommendation features.

Issue:  I'm completely at sea here.  I have no idea where to start.  I've looked at the FAQs and taken the tour and whatnot, but it all seems very geeky and technical.  In other words, I don't want to start a twine (at least not at the moment) but I would like to start trying to use the organization/bookmark features.  I wish there was a How To tutorial on that.  How do I get up and running right away?  What do I do with my Home page?  Explain how twine pages are laid out (they look very disorganized to me because I don't know what I'm looking at).  Why would I want connections -- is it like Facebook?  Is it like MySpace?  Or is it more like LinkedIn? 

Sorry I'm so confused.  I am very excited to try Twine, though, so I hope you can help me figure things out.
