Simply put the infoverse is a term designating the universe of information.
It may also refer to the global information visualization environment.
Alternatively it may also refer to the global information infrastructure.
There are a number of views concerning the term infoverse, none of them defined neither in current dictionaries nor in wikipedia.
The infoverse can be understood both as comprising matter (possibly on the quantum level) or not. Comprising energy or not.
The usage of the term in common parlance generally refers to human generated content via different forms of data storage and data communication/transfer specifically on the web/net/grid.

My take on the term:
Infoverse I understand to mean the sum total of all information capable of being perceived and/ or manipulated by humans at our current level of technology/science.
In principle (though the technology need show a proof of capability) web3.0 – the semantic web will be able to organize and sort the infoverse into a manageable whole. If and when such a technology will become transparent and invisible, the infoverse will permeate all of our lives.
