You know - MAYBE if and as our elected representatives become more dependent on (addicted to?) certain technology, THEY will demand and get some greater amount of security and privacy for / from those. And MAYBE that will be allowed (required!?) to spill over to the rest of us. MAYBE ... but unlikely?
