      this is SUCH an OLD idea, I have an article I cut out, like BEFORE THE INTERNET about this, and why do we need expensive rails for this? smart highways and public pod cars, hopefully self sanitizing.

      Actually, Walt Disney proposed this very thing back in the 60's when they were considering Disneyworld and EPCOT. There's even a bunch of youtube videos. Somewhere I have a animated sequence they did that explains this entire concept, that was done almost 40 years ago!

      And don't forget the Jetsons.
