I've only used it a little, but I already love it. Might even be enough to bring me back to Firefox, but that would be a stretch. It would have to get a little further for that to happen.

It's brilliant. A bit buggy, but brilliant.

I've installed my Ubiquity and have begun customizing "commands". Very geeky and very fun. You can exercise your Javascript in a very fast and very visible environment. Error handling needs some work though.

The public commands lean very heavily toward search.
The "edit" commands are a bit puzzling until you realize that you are editing your view of the web page that you are visiting:
      edit-page
      ... edit things
stop-edit-page It's Timbl's dream, except only you get to see your changes. Even the next time that you visit the page.
What happens if the underlying public page changes?
The email using gmail is a bit rough and limited, but obviously just a demo of possbilities.
I also found that the tutorial on the Ubiquity web site did not match the distributed version.
It's brand new and exciting. We can all stand a little bit of alpha-roughness.
