The Robot Group

Description

 A group of people pursuing robots and applications of same for nearly 20 years. I got involved with the group in 1998 when David Santos and some other people walked into Discovery Hall and asked for help. Discovery Hall was a now defunct hands-on science museum here in Austin. It was located at 4th and Congress. I was the lead exhibit builder and manager of the various SIGS, for example our BBS was called 'Confusion Research Center'. We had a small group and by adding them to our budget and access to our shop the group got going. I still work with the group intermittently.
